OUR ORIGIN STORY

From 3 engineers to Africa's leading software studio.

Deecipher started in 2020 when our founder, Ibrahim Yakubu, realized that African entrepreneurs were outsourcing software development overseas — losing time, money, and control. He built a small team of 3 and took on the challenge of building SchoolCloud, a platform that digitized a struggling institution serving 2,000+ students.

Word spread. Soon we were building BonanzaPay (fintech infrastructure processing millions in transactions) and DeeStoreX (POS system for retail chains). By 2023, we had delivered 15+ platforms. Today, in 2026, we're a team of 50+ engineers, designers, and strategists — and we're just getting started.
